The Saint John Theatre Company is a not-for-profit theatre company that has worked with over 2500 artists, on-stage and backstage. Over its 31-year history it has become a vibrant community of professional artists, technical staff and community-based theatre makers, focussed on three key goals:

Developing, promoting and showcasing local talent;
Cultivating and growing the development of the professional theatre industry in Southern New Brunswick;

STAGING THE FUTURE ENDOWMENT FUND

Recent global events have shown the Saint John Theatre Company the importance of having long-term investments that protect our operations and programs during unpredictable times. The SJTC’s Staging the Future Endowment Fund, launched with a generous bequest from the late Helene Ovesen, is a key component of our sustainability plan.

Held in trust by The Community Foundation, each year the Endowment provides a reliable income stream that enables the Saint John Theatre Company to continue to expand our programming and entertain, enlighten and inspire our audiences.

Specific Bequest: Designate a fixed dollar amount or specific asset to the SJTC in your will.
Residual Bequest: Designate your entire estate or a specified percentage to the SJTC.
Contingent Bequest: Designate a bequest to the SJTC in the event of the death of any beneficiaries named in your will.

The SJTC Endowment Fund

Your contribution to the SJTC's 'Staging the Future Endowment Fund' is managed by the Saint John Community Foundation and held in perpetuity. The SJTC benefits from drawing annual interest on the endowment fund to support our programs.
